This Committee is responsible for making all recommendations to city agencies.

Education, Recreation, & Libraries

This Committee is responsible for improving education, recreation, and libraries services within the

Commission.

Public Safety

The public safety committee main goal is to work all law enforcement and emergency management

agencies that improve the safety of our communities.

Youth Readiness

This committee is responsible for providing links to key government agencies that have a direct impact

on youth within our Commission boundaries.

Small Business & Workforce Development

The small business and workforce development committee main focus is to work with all businesses

located within ANC 8B and promote policies that leads to lowering our unemployment.

Economic Development

The economic development committee is responsible for overseeing all planned and proposed

development and as well as those projects currently under development which are located within the

boundaries of our Commission.
